As the early morning sun rose, the team assembled to capture the perfect blend of cashmere, sunshine and blue skies. The quiet beach offered a serene backdrop for our fashion shoot. The team included Mark, our photographer; Sally, who handled video; our model, Hee Da and we were all assisted by Zaria. Both Hee Da and Zaria are graduating fashion design students from Griffith College, where I lecture first years. They were a pleasure to teach and also to work with on the shoot.
We began at Killiney Beach, a location special to me. Our first stop was the blue changing block, its vibrant colour contrasting with the pebbled ground and clear sky. Next, we moved to White Rock. The simple white concrete structure provided a minimalistic setting, highlighting Hee Da's beauty.
The focus of this shoot was my new styles, featuring the pampas pattern. This linear vertical pointelle pattern is not only visually striking but also designed to reveal flashes of skin. I just love how Hee Da wears them. As the sun climbed higher, and a raincloud threatened rolling in, we wrapped up our session…
Thanks for a great shoot Mark, Sally, Hee Da and Zaria!
