Delphi
Now more than ever I feel the need to disconnect, be surrounded by the sky, glossy green nature and rushing water, to feel small, and safe, surrounded and a part of something bigger than me. Walls of wet shiny leaves, quiet spaces, unexpected textures, the deep wisdom of trees.
I draw inspiration from the forest, dappled sunlight, moving patterns, the vibrant carpet of leaves, a home for birds, insects, and foxes who I might be lucky enough to cross paths with.
Each knit piece subconsciously to serve as a reminder of the beauty and teachings held within our natural world: there is a larger sense of belonging in the forest.
Mount Usher in Ashford was the location for our shoot, I was lucky to again have been surrounded by a lovely team of women, each so creative and generously sharing their own perspective and talents. Thank you Sia, Kiri and Jane for making our Delphi shoot happen,
