I woke up on January 1st this year and decided it was time to push out of my comfort zone and get my cashmere out into the world!
My focus for the last 3 years has been on the nuts and bolts of my business - surviving and concentrating on developing my knitwear; making it better each season with the least amount of harm to the planet.
So off to New York Fashion Week I went, with a big suitcase bulging with cashmere. I travelled with my friend and fellow designer Anna, from The Landskein and together we worked and played hard, introduced our brands to new stockists, wrote orders and made new contacts. It was amazing to connect again with buyers in real life, pound the streets and feel the buzz of my favourite city.
I’m grateful for the experience, to be part of an international market and have the opportunity to tell my story to a whole new audience.
